CU-15-16 Verizon Wireless-Troutman Sanders, LLP of Atlanta, GA requests a conditional use for property located at 1865 McGarity Road in Land Lots 117 and 108 of the 7th District. The property consists of 8.77+/- acres, and the request is for a new Wireless Communication Facility in the RA (Residential-Agricultural) zoning district. District 3

The mission of the Planning and Zoning
Department is to effectively manage community change in the
short and long term with regards to land use, transportation,
historic preservation and overall development, in order to
create a sustainable, livable, and economically successful
future for the citizens of Henry County.
The means by which the Planning and Zoning Department is to
effectively manage community change is the comprehensive
review and approval of all developments within the City of
Stockbridge and unincorporated areas of Henry County. In addition,
the Planning and Zoning Department interprets and implements
the goals and objectives of the Joint Comprehensive Development
Plan and interprets the regulations and requirements of the
Zoning and Subdivision Ordinances.
