Associations
Henry County residents wanting to get involved in sports or activities have several associations affiliated with the Recreation Department from which to choose. These associations are run by volunteers and always welcome new members. The Recreation office can provide you with a current list of officers. To find out how to register for a sport in your community, call the recreation office at (770) 288-7300.
Basketball
Basketball is offered in the winter of each year. Youth Basketball plays out of Fairview Recreation Center, J.P. Moseley Recreation Center and various Henry County Schools.

BMX Association

Bruce Holmes Association

Fairview Football Association
The Fairview Youth Athletic Association (FYAA) was formed in 2009 as a non-profit sports organization dedicated to providing the youth of the Fairview / Ellenwood community and surrounding areas a positive and enjoyable football experience.

Henry County Soccer Association
Soccer offers spring and fall soccer. The association meets at the N. Mt. Carmel Park meeting room according to upcoming seasons decided upon by their officers. Soccer plays out of Mt. Carmel Park.

The Henry County Tennis Association is a non profit/tax exempt organization that is dedicated to the development of tennis as a means of healthful recreation and physical fitness for all ages, and to maintain the rules of play and high standards of sportsmanship.

Locust Grove Youth Association
Locust Grove offers spring and fall baseball and softball and fall cheerleading and football. The association meets the first Sunday of each month at the Historic Room at the Locust Grove Municipal Building. Locust Grove plays out of Warren Holder Park.

McDonough Youth Association
McDonough offers spring and fall baseball and softball, fall cheerleading and football and fall and winter/spring inline hockey. The association meets the second Tuesday of the month at the Richard Craig Community Building. McDonough plays out of Alexander Park, Avalon Park,
Big Springs Park, and Richard Craig Park.

Ola Athletic Association

Tennis is offered to youth in the following programs: USTA’s Quick Start, Summer Tennis & Academic Camp, Summer Tennis Lessons & Jr. Tennis League. All lessons and leagues play out of Richard Craig Park.

Track
Track is offered to youth ages 7 - 14. Registration is in February of each year at any Recreation Center or online at www.hcprd.org.
Henry County Lacrosse Association
The Henry County Lacrosse Association (HCLA) is a grassroots, non-profit, parent-driven organization whose goal is to advance the sport of lacrosse in the Henry County, Georgia area. In the past two years the organization has grown to 150 families, and fields’ boys and girls teams at the high school, middle school and elementary school levels. Our players now come from all areas of the county.
