Early Voting to Begin October 15
For the General Election
The General Election is scheduled for November 6, 2012 with polls open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. The last day to register to be eligible to vote in the General Election/November Special Election /Runoff Election is October 9, 2012.
Early voting in Henry County begins October 15 and will continue through November 2 at various locations. Early voting hours for October 15 through October 19 will be Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., at the Henry County Elections and Registration Building, located at 345 Phillips Drive in McDonough.
From Monday, October 22 through Friday, October 26, early voting will be available from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Elections and Registration Office on Phillips Drive in McDonough, as well as at a second location at the Ted Strickland Community Center, located at 130 Berry St. in Stockbridge.
As an added convenience, citizens may also cast their early votes on Saturday, October 27, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the main Phillips Drive office, the Ted Strickland Community Center, and at a third location at the Fairview Library, located at 28 Austin Rd. in Stockbridge.
From Monday, October 29 to November 2, early voting will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the main Elections Office on Phillips Dr. in McDonough, the Ted Strickland Community Center, the Fairview Library, The Train Depot, located at 17 E. Main St. in Hampton and at the Locust Grove Recreation Center located at 10 Cleveland St. in Locust Grove. For more information or to view your sample ballot, visit www.henrycounty-ga.org/elections.
