Longtime Employees Recognized by
Board of Commissioners for Service

The Henry County Board of Commissioners recognized and honored several longtime employees at the regular Commission meeting held Monday. Employees with 20, 25 and 30 years of service were presented with awards commemorating their years of service to the County.
"It is rare in today's world to find individuals who devote their entire working career to a single employer,” said Henry County Commission Chairman, Elizabeth ‘B. J.’ Mathis. “The County government and our citizens are very fortunate to have so many dedicated individuals and we extend our sincerest gratitude to each employee for a job well done."
Employees honored for 30 years of service included Stan L. Jones and Carl R. Penn. Those with 25 years of service include Charles G. Brooks, Gregory Gleaton, James K. Jones, William D. Lacy, James S. Lynch, John R. Moore, David D. Ritchie, Jerry G. Strickland and James L. Wright. Employees recognized for 20 years of service included Rufus Adams, Don A. Ash James B. Burch, Michael A. Cash, Michael E. Cone, Kenneth D. Dawson, Dennis K. Hall, John T. Harper, Nancy S. Harrison, Mark W. Henley, Michael S. Kehoe, Fred J. Leonard, Jr., Alice L. McClutchen, Glen K. Nichols, Diana G. Reed, Tracy J. Richardson, Jimmie B. Spence, Koweena L. Starks and Pamela J. Taylor.
