Second Annual ‘Vettes for Vets Car Show To be Held June 9

The second annual ‘Vettes for Vets Car Show will be held on Saturday, June 9 at the Jason T. Harper Event Center at Heritage Park in McDonough from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The car show is open to all cars, trucks and bikes and prizes will be awarded in several categories, including Best in Show, People’s Choice, Best Club Participation and Best Paint Job. There will also be concessions, door prizes, a raffle, live music, family fun with a special kid zone, arts and crafts and over 40 vendors.

Registration for the car show is $25 to compete and $10 to display. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Veterans Military Museum at Heritage Park and the National Corvette Museum. Military discounts are available and parking and admission are free. Rain date is Sunday, June 10.
