Zoning Advisory Board Meetings to be Broadcaston Henry TV14

Beginning next month, Henry TV14 will add another program to its lineup.  On May 10th, the government access channel will begin broadcasting the Henry County Zoning Advisory Board meetings. 

“Televising the Zoning Advisory Board would afford citizens an opportunity to see what happens during these meetings, prior to the request being forwarded to the Commissioners,” explained Cheri Hobson-Matthews, Director of the Henry County Planning & Zoning Department.  “In a number of cases, individuals are unable to attend the meeting, so this would actually provide them with a second opportunity to hear and view the agenda items.  It will also allow the citizens to become familiar with the citizen representatives and their roles and responsibilities as a board.” 

The Zoning Advisory Board meetings take place on the second Thursday of every other month at 7:30 p.m.  They will be aired live, and then be rebroadcast each Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
