Superior Court

The historical Henry County Courthouse, built in 1897, is located on Highway 23/42 on the square in McDonough, Georgia. Parking is available for Courthouse business on Lawrenceville Street, 1/2 block off the Square (See Map).
The Henry County Courthouse was erected in 1823 and completed in 1897. It is a brick on masonry construction with metal and wood cornice. It was built for about $13,000 by Frank P. Heifner and designed by Golucke and Stewart.
Driving Directions
- I-75 South - Exit 221, Jonesboro Road. Turn left go 5 miles to City of McDonough. Courthouse is on north side of Square.
- I-75 North - Exit 218, Highway 20/81. Turn right go 5 miles to City of McDonough. Courthouse is on north side of Square.
