Invitation to Bid: SP-08-46-022508-1
Henry County Board of Commissioners is requesting
proposals from qualified vendors to design, furnish and install
a security and fire protection system at the Henry County Government
Annex Building in McDonough, Georgia. The Contractor shall furnish
all materials, labor, tools, equipment and services necessary
in the performance of this RFP.
Proposals will be received by Henry County Board of Commissioners,
Purchasing Department, 140 Henry Parkway, Room 209, McDonough,
Georgia 30253 until 3:00PM local time on February 25, 2008. Late
proposals will not be considered nor returned.
Proposals may be submitted by mail, common carrier or delivered
in person. Fax or electronic (e-mail) proposals are not
acceptable. All proposals must be received by the Purchsing
Department on or prior to the date and time specified. Proposals
will be formally accepted and acknowledged at the County Administration
Building by staff personnel.
A pre-proposal meeting will be held on Thursday February 14,
2008 at 10:00AM in the Henry County Government Annex Building,
Community Room, 116 S. Zack Hinton Parkway in McDonough, Georgia.
This meeting is not mandatory; however, attendance is strongly
recommended as failure to attend will not relieve the vendor of
fulfulling all requirements and/or obligations of the proposal.
Also, individual meetings with the County staff regarding the
RFP may not be available. Each bidder shall examine and thoroughly
familiarize himself with all existing conditions, including all
laws, ordinances, rules and regulations that will affect the work
prior to submitting a proposal.

The documents may be shipped with the requesting vendor’s
Fedex shipper number.
Proposals may not be withdrawn for ninety (90) days after the
time and date set for closing, except as allowed by OCGA. Henry
County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and
to waive any technicalities.
