Captain Jason Bolton

Captain Jason Bolton, Henry County Police DepartmentA lifelong resident of Henry County, Captain Bolton has been with the Henry County Police Department for 15 years. He started with the department in 1993 and worked for several years as an officer in the Uniform Patrol Division. In 1996 Bolton became a detective and worked at first in the Crimes Against Property Division investigating Burglaries and Thefts, and then later in the Crimes Against Persons Division where he investigated numerous types of violent crimes including Rapes, Robberies, Child Molestation & Abuse, and Homicides.

In 2004 Bolton was promoted to Lieutenant over the Internal Affairs Division where he currently serves today as a Captain.

As the Internal Affairs Commander, Captain Bolton is responsible for several aspects of the police department including Internal Investigations, Hiring & Recruiting, Open Records Requests, and Media Relations.

Captain Bolton also serves as the police department’s spokesperson.
