Job Notification: Drug Task Force Commander

The Flint Circuit Drug Task Force is seeking résumés from responsible candidates who can manage the day to day operations of a multi-jurisdictional task force. The candidate will plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate activities of the Drug Task Force. The Drug Task Force Commander shall be under the direct supervision of the Drug Task Force (DTF) Board.

The qualified candidate must possess the following knowledge, skill, and/or ability requirements:

  • Ten (10) years of service as a law enforcement officer
  • Five (5) years of service in the capacity of a narcotics/drug/vice supervisor
  • Georgia P.O.S.T. certified officer
  • College degree or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to pass a thorough background investigation and polygraph
  • No felony conviction
  • No Domestic Violence convictions
  • Good moral character
  • Honorable discharge only for persons with military service
  • Valid Georgia Driver’s License
