Park Photo Scavenger Hunt
Henry County’s Playful Cities Invite You to Get Out and
Explore Our Parks with a Photo Scavenger Hunt.
The
Cities of Hampton, Locust Grove and McDonough, in partnership with Henry County
Parks & Recreation, were among 213 cities from across the nation named Playful
Cities by the non-profit organization, KaBOOM! To celebrate this honor,
and to encourage more play at the county and city parks this summer, Henry
County, together with these cities, has developed a Park Scavenger Hunt!
This fun activity is a great opportunity for families to get out and explore our
parks together and discover all the great amenities this community has to offer
– and perhaps win a fantastic prize!
The photo scavenger hunt features photos of objects located in parks throughout
these three cities and unincorporated Henry County. The first
individual/family to correctly name the object and park location featured in all
20 photos on the official Scavenger Hunt Form and submit it via email at the
address provided below will win a wicker picnic basket with service for four and
a $25 gift card for Folks Restaurant.
Completed forms should be emailed to jernst@co.henry.ga.us
The first correct entry will be determined by the time stamp of the email. The
winner must be a Henry County resident. County and city employees are not
eligible to win.
