Sandy Ridge Park is the location of the Sandy Ridge BMX track, a premiere racing facility sanctioned by the new USABMX association. The track features a 50 foot starting hill with 3 paved high-banked turns connected by 800 feet of jumps, whoops, rollers, and step-ups. The track hosts 40 sanctioned races a year depending on weather and Tuesday night practice sessions. The track is available for all to ride when not racing, although a helmet is required.  Long pants and long sleeve shirts are recommended. The track has a concession stand and restroom facilities open when racing.
