After School Enrichment Program

The HCPRD After School Academic Enrichment Program will:

• Provide children with a secure environment staffed by warm friendly caregivers.
• Offer activities that will promote self-esteem, confidence, and responsibility.
• Offer homework assistance, extracurricular activities and enrichment. 

THE STUDENTS WILL BE PICKED UP FROM AUSTIN ROAD ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOOLS ONLY AND TRANSPORTED TO FAIRVIEW RECREATION  CENTER.

The Henry County Parks and Recreation After School Program is offered Monday - Friday from 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm (Only on school days).

The cost of this program is $40.00 per week and payment is made by the Friday prior to week needing After School.

Homework Philosophy

We have taken into consideration the opinions and needs of children families, and staff in developing a homework philosophy.  The children will be allowed to do their homework during the afterschool program.  Staff will try to assist the children with their homework needs.  Homework time is NOT tutorial.  It is a basic support system for homework success.  The ulimate responsibility in homework completion lies with the family.  Please be sure to check your child’s homework daily.
