Environmental Health

Henry County Environmental Health is a division of The Georgia Department of Human Resources, Division of Public Health. We offer progams such as Food Service, On-Site Sewage Management, Public Swimming Pools, Tourist Accommodations, Well Water, West Nile Virus Surveillance, Indoor Air Quality (limited), Emergency Preparedness, and Vector Control.

Mission

Provide primary prevention through a combination of surveillance, education, enforcement and assessment programs designed to identify, prevent and abate the environmental conditions that adversely impact human health.
