Director - Pat Delk-Bogue
Pat Delk-Bogue began her career working within the Henry County Government in June of 1997 in the Tax Assessors Department and in 1998 moved into the position of Director of the GIS Department, a position she has served in since that time.
Pat is responsible for the daily operations of maintaining, updating and distributing the many mapping layers of GIS (Geographical Information Systems) information, serving all County departments and citizens alike for their specific mapping needs and individual requests.
Pat began her career in government working for the city of Houston in 1989, where she served as the Chief Engineering/GIS Analyst. She coordinated directly with Houston’s Public Works management as their liaison with the assigned consultant on a large citywide project that included converting all of the cities underground utilities from paper media format to a totally digital format, with intelligence associated within each of the different disciplines, water, waste water and storm water.
Pat attended Tarleton State University, Stephenville, Texas and later transferred to Texas A&M University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 1985. She’s also a member in the Sigma Alpha Iota, an international music fraternity for women.
Pat is an avid runner, participating in many races within the community for numerous charitable originations, and volunteers her time to assist several animal rescue groups. Pat lives in McDonough with her husband, three rescue dogs, has two grown children and a stepson.
