NOTICE OF JUDICIAL EMERGENCY

The Georgia Supreme Court has extended the Statewide Judicial Emergency judicial to October 10 at 11:59 p.m.

All parties entering Henry County courthouses must wear a mask and observe the safety guidelines established by the Henry County Superior Court Standing Order for Court Procedures During Judicial Emergency.

ANNOUNCEMENT:

Beginning May 4th the Magistrate Court Clerk's office will be open from 9:00 AM-4 PM. You may be screened for a fever and COVID-19 symptoms. You will be required to wear a face covering. All fillings fees must be in the form of a check or money order. Please be advised court dates will not be assigned at the window notice will be mailed to parties. Please be sure you provide a phone number and email address on every filling as we will be holding hearings by Webex.

Please Note: These forms are copies that the Clerk’s Office makes available at no charge to plaintiffs filing with the Magistrate Court. The use of these forms aids in the efficient processing of the paperwork. If you print the forms for use, please make sure that you submit an original and enough copies for service as well as copies that can be returned to you for your safekeeping. Remember to have your claim forms notarized where indicated on the form.
