HENRY COUNTY- October 23, 2017—Commissioner Bruce Holmes and the Commissioner Bruce Holmes’ Youth Foundation (CBHYF) is hosting its annual gala on November 11, 2017 from 6 to 11 p.m. at the Merle Manders Conference Center in Stockbridge.

Guests will experience a night of Moulin Rouge themed decor, heavy hors d’ oeuvres, a wonderful dinner, entertaining music to dance the night away, on what will be an amazingly festive evening with a program honoring local and national CBHYF supporters who by their generosity have provided hope and opportunity to deserving youth within our community.
This year’s Master of Ceremonies is Henry County’s own Greg Alan Williams, actor, author and educator, who is known for his roles in “Remember the Titans”, “The Accountant” and currently starring in the OWN network series “Greenleaf” as Uncle Mac. Red carpet host will be Larry Love, radio personality from V-103, and this year’s honorees include: Eric Watson, Principal of Stockbridge High School; Dr. Edward Lee, Shiloh Baptist Church; Mildred Schmelz, Vice Chair Henry County Board of Elections; Darius Pattillo, District Attorney of Henry County; Rannie Goodwater, Mentor of Project Exposure; Joyce Rodgers, Henry County Hospital Authority; and Mekhi Whitner, Mentee of Project Exposure.
