Community Services
The Community Service Program was
formalized to provide a meaningful restitution program for
offenders who have been mandated by the courts to perform
community service hours for infractions such as DUI, suspended
license, no insurance and various other misdemeanor violations.
The program may offer inmates the opportunity to earn early
release or otherwise offer probationers the opportunity to
pay their debt to society if they are unable to meet the fine
imposed.
The unity and spirit of cooperation are key ingredients in
the success and effectiveness of the Community Service Program.
The program saves money, works for the offenders, the detention
center, staff, the county departments, and most importantly,
for the citizens of Henry County. This program is proof that
a positive approach to problem solving can truly produce positive
and productive results.
