Commercial: Inspection Procedures
Henry County employs Combination Inspectors. This means you will only have one Commercial Inspector to schedule with on your job. As the central point of contact, we request that the General Contractor’s superintendant call in all inspection requests, since this individual will logically have all of the schedules on the job.
Inspections are called in to your inspector. If the inspector is not available, please leave a voice mail message.
Our deadline for same day inspection requests is 9:00 AM. Any inspection requested after this time will be routed out the following business day.
We typically conduct the inspection on the same day in which it was called. However, if for some reason an inspection was not done the day it was routed, it will be set as a priority the next business day.
In the effort to be good stewards in the efficient use of our time and money, we typically do not schedule an inspection for a given time. However, if for some reason time is a concern, we will do what we can to accommodate your scheduling need (i.e. - placing concrete, business hours of operation, etc.).
