A.     Hudgins Communities, Inc. – MC-02-04; Commissioner Harper, District 3 (Exhibit #2)

Hudgins Communities, Inc. of Stockbridge, GA requests a modification to a condition of zoning from property located along the south side of Brannan Road within the Carlyle at Rockport Subdivision, in Land Lot 3 of the 7th District.  The property consists of 20.43 +/- acres, and the request is to modify a zoning condition related to a walking trail. (Postponed by the BOC on 5/4/04; Tabled by the BOC on 6/1/04)

VI.            Rezoning

A.     Shiraz Aly – RZ-04-20; Commissioner Holder, District 1 (Exhibit #3)

Shiraz Aly of Fayetteville, GA requests a rezoning from RA (Residential-Agricultural) to C-2 (General Commercial) for properties located on Highway 81 and South Ola Road, in Land Lot 145 of the 7th District.  The property consists of 1.95 +/- acres, and the request is for a convenience store.

B.      The Sembler Company – RZ-04-21; Commissioner Freedman, District 2 (Exhibit #4)

The Sembler Company of Atlanta, GA request a rezoning from RA (Residential Agricultural) to C-3 (Heavy commercial) for property located on the western side of Mill Road and south of Jonesboro Road, in Land Lot 110 of the 6th District.  The property consists of 22.61 +/- acres, and the request is to develop a retail shopping plaza. 

VII.         Mr. Charles Cole, Regional Manager for TitleMax, request to appear before the Board regarding the denial of a business license (Exhibit #5)

VIII.      Ms. Chris Rogers request to appear before the Board regarding establishing a scenic road ordinance in Henry County (Exhibit #6)

IX.            Mr. Thomas Hoke request to appear before the Board regarding South River at Snapping Shoals (Exhibit #7)

X.               Economic Development

A.     Ordinance to revise Chapter 3-6, Article III of the Code of Henry County, entitled “Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control” for the purpose of adopting all changes resulting from House Bill 285 amending the Erosion and Sedimentation Act of 1975, O. C. G. A. 12-7-1 (Danny Taylor, Economic Development Division Director; Jeret Elwell, Stormwater Management; and Patrick Jaugstetter, County Attorney) (Exhibit #8)

B.      Request approval of a resolution to uphold the decision of the Planning Administrator to allow a building permit to be issued for 3359 Jodeco Road (Danny Taylor, Economic Development Division Director) (Exhibit #9)

A.     Request approval of a contract for a drainage project at 113 Gardeners Grove Drive and the adjacent property (Michael Harris, Public Works Division Director; Glynn Purser, Purchasing Department) (Exhibit #10)
