VII.         Modification of a Zoning Condition

A.     Hudgins Communities, Inc. - MC-02-04; District 3 (Exhibit #3)

Hudgins Communities, Inc. of Stockbridge, GA requests a modification to a condition of zoning for property located along the south side of Brannan Road within the Carlyle at Rockport Subdivision, in Land Lot 3 of the 7th District.  The property consists of 20.43 +/- acres, and the request is to modify a zoning condition related to a walking trail.  Municipal Planning Commission recommended Approval on March 11, 2004.  (This item was postponed at the May 4, 2004 Board of Commissioners Meeting)

A.     Fayette Environmental, LLC – RZ-03-66; Commissioner Holder, District 1 (Exhibit #4)

Fayette Environmental, LLC of Conley, GA requests a rezoning from RA (Residential Agricultural) to M-2 (Heavy Manufacturing) for property located on SR 42 South, in Land Lot 159 of the 2nd District.  The property consists of 51.0 +/- acres, and the request is for an industrial subdivision.  Municipal Planning Commission recommended Approval on February 12, 2004. (This item was postponed at the May 20, 2004 Board of Commissioners Meeting)

B.      3-D Construction – RZ-03-69; Commissioner Holder, District 1 (Exhibit #5)

3-D Construction, Inc. of Hampton, GA requests a rezoning from RA (Residential Agricultural) to R-2 (Single-Family Residence) for property located on the western side of Leguin Mill Road and north of Cardell Drive, in Land Lot 254 of the 2nd District and Land Lot 243 of the 7th District. The property consists of 87.70 +/- acres, and the request is for a single-family residential subdivision.  Municipal Planning Commission recommended Approval on April 15, 2004.

C.     Cameron Development Corporation – RZ-03-72; Commissioner Freedman, District 2 (Exhibit #6)

Cameron Development Corporation of McDonough, GA requests a rezoning from RA (Residential Agricultural) to R-2 (Single-Family Residence) for property located on the west side of Chambers Road, in Land Lots 116 and 141 of the 6th District.  The property consists of 43.05 +/- acres, and the request is for a single-family residential subdivision.  Municipal Planning Commission recommended Approval on March 25, 2004. (This item was postponed at the May 4, 2004 Board of Commissioners meeting)

D.     Register & Associates – RZ-04-06; District 3 (Exhibit #7)

Register & Associates of McDonough, GA requests a rezoning from R-2 (Single-Family Residence) to OI (Office/Institutional) for property located at 3949 Jodeco Road, in Land Lot 63 of the 7th District.  The property consists of 0.52 +/- acres, and the request is for a professional office building.  Municipal Planning Commission recommended Approval on April 8, 2004.

 

E.      Hayes Development Corporation – RZ-04-08; Commissioner Freedman, District 2 (Exhibit #8)

Hayes Development Corporation of Fayetteville, GA requests a rezoning from RA (Residential Agricultural) to R-2 (Single-Family Residence) for property located on the northern side of Hampton-Locust Grove Road, in Land Lots 209 and 240 of the 2nd District.  The property consists of 35.47 +/- acres, and the request is for a single-family residential subdivision.  Municipal Planning Commission recommended Approval on April 8, 2004

F.      TA Investments, LLC – RZ-04-11; Commissioner Holman, District 5 (Exhibit #9)

TA Investments, LLC of Lithonia, GA requests a rezoning from RA (Residential Agricultural) to R-2 (Single-Family Residence) for property located at 5796 Hearn Road, in Land Lot 224 of the 12th District.  The property consists of 30.30 +/- acres, and the request is for a single-family residential subdivision.  Municipal Planning Commission recommended Approval on April 15, 2004.

A.     Presentation by the Georgia Department of Transportation regarding a truck study (Exhibit #10)

B.      Request approval to engage Tischler and Associates of Bethesda, Maryland to perform a transportation impact fee study, and for other purposes (Exhibit #11) (This item was removed from the May 3rd agenda)

C.     Request for approval of a license pertaining to the sale of alcoholic beverages for packaged sales at the location of the Eckerd at 1825 Jonesboro Road (Exhibit #12)

A.     Request approval of a bid for design and contract for an addition to “A Friend’s House” (Exhibit #13)

A.     Request approval of proposals for the renovation of two historic buildings at Heritage Park (Exhibit #14)
