IX.            Rezoning

A.     Dickerson Brothers Rezoning RZ-03-47; Commissioner Freedman, District 2 (Planning Exhibit #1)

Dickerson Brothers of Atlanta, GA requests a rezoning from RA (Residential Agricultural) to C-3 (Heavy Commercial) for property located at the intersection of State Route 20 West and Industrial Boulevard, in Land Lot 192 of the 7th District.  The property contains 6.5 +/- acres and the request is for a heavy commercial development.  Municipal Planning Commission recommended Approval February 12, 2004.

B.      Andy Bunn Rezoning RZ-03-63; Commissioner Harper, District 3 (Planning Exhibit #2)

Andy Bunn of Locust Grove, GA requests a rezoning from RA (Residential Agricultural) to R-2 (Single-Family Residence) for property located at 180 Gentry Drive, in Land Lot 75 of the 7th District.  The property consists of 32.0 +/- acres and the request is for a single-family residential subdivision.  Municipal Planning Commissioner recommended Denial January 8, 2004.

C.     Triad Investments Rezoning RZ-03-64; Commissioner Harper, District 3 (Planning Exhibit #3)

Triad Investments of Jonesboro, GA requests a rezoning from RA (Residential Agricultural) and R-1 (Single-Family Residence) to R-2 (Single-Family Residence) for property located on Turner Church Road, in Land Lots 86 and 107 single-family residential subdivision.  Municipal Planning Commission recommended Denial January 8, 2004.

D.     Fayette Environmental Rezoning RZ-03-66; Commissioner Holder, District 1 (Planning Exhibit #4)

Fayette Environmental, LLC of Conley, GA requests a rezoning from RA (Residential Agricultural) to M-2 (Heavy Manufacturing) for property located on State Route 42 South, in Land Lot 159 of the 2nd District.  The property contains 51.0 +/- acres and the request is for an industrial subdivision.  Municipal Planning Commission recommended Approval February 12, 2004.

E.      Ron Resser Rezoning RZ-03-67; Commissioner Freedman, District 2 (Planning Exhibit #5)

Ron Resser of Atlanta, GA requests a rezoning from RA (Residential Agricultural) to C-2 (General Commercial) for property located at the intersection of State Route 155 South and Bill Gardner Parkway, in Land Lots 210 and 211 of the 2nd District.  The property contains 14.3 +/- acres and the request is for a commercial subdivision.  Municipal Planning Commission recommended Approval February 12, 2004.

F.      Ron Resser Rezoning RZ -03-68; Commissioner Freedman, District 2 (Planning Exhibit #6)

Ron Resser of Atlanta, GA requests a rezoning from RA (Residential Agricultural) to M-1 (Light Manufacturing) for property located at the intersection of State Route 155 South and Bill Gardner Parkway, in Land Lots 210 and 211 of the 2nd District.  The property contains 2.9 +/- acres and the request is for self-storage facilities.  Municipal Planning Commissioner recommended Approval February 12, 2004.
