1.     An ordinance for the purpose of amending Section 3-6-24 of the Code of Henry County, Georgia, pertaining to platting authority of the County Municipal Planning Commission; and for other purposes.  Municipal Planning Commission will hear this item January 22, 2004. (This Exhibit is in the Planning & Zoning Exhibit Book)

2.     An ordinance for the purpose of amending Section 3-14-50 of the Code of Henry County, Georgia, entitled “Persons Eligible for Retail License;” and for other purposes. (This ordinance was submitted by the Economic Development Committee, January 15, 2004 meeting) (Exhibit #1)

3.     An ordinance for the purpose of amending Article V, Chapter 3-2 of the Code of Henry County, Georgia, pertaining to establishing a Board of Code Enforcement; and for other purposes (This ordinance was submitted by the Public Safety Committee, January 27, 2004 meeting.) (Exhibit #2)

VI.            Rezoning

1.     RZ-03-63 – Rezoning; Commissioner Harper, District 3

Andy Bunn of Locust Grove, GA requests a rezoning from RA (Residential Agricultural) to R-2 (Single-Family Residence) for property located at 180 Gentry Drive, in Land Lot 75 of the 7th District.  The property consists of 32.0 +/- acres and the request is for a single-family residential subdivision.  Municipal Planning Commission recommended Denial January 8, 2004. (Planning Exhibit #1)

 

2.     RZ-03-64 – Rezoning; Commissioner Harper, District 3

Triad Investments of Jonesboro, GA requests a rezoning from RA (Residential Agricultural) and R-1 (Single-Family Residence) to R-2 (Single-Family Residence) for property located on Turner Church Road, in Land Lots 86 and 107 of the 7th District.  The property contains 34.0 +/- acres and the request is for a single-family residential subdivision.  Municipal Planning Commission recommended Denial January 8, 2004. 3.     RZ-03-65 – Rezoning; Commissioner Holder, District 1

Earl Warrington of Jonesboro, GA requests a rezoning from RA (Residential Agricultural) to R-1 (Single-Family Residence) for property located near the intersection of Ellistown Road and Moccasin Gap Road in Land Lot 235 of the 8th District.  The property contains 29.0 +/- acres and the request is for a single-family residential subdivision.  Municipal Planning Commission recommended Approval January 8, 2004.
