Shelter Services

Our Animal Shelter houses and cares for animals that are impounded by our officers and animals that are found lost/stray in Henry County and brought to the shelter by citizens. We also provide quarantine facilities for biting animals. Shelter staff makes every effort to reunite lost pets with their owners as well as to place healthy, adoptable animals in new permanent, loving homes.  Our shelter also provides educational opportunities to the community on a variety of animal related issues as well as offers low-cost spay/neuter and rabies vaccination assistance.
