Found Pets

If you would like to list your lost pet, or if you would like to let us know about an animal that has been found, please send an email to webmaster@co.henry.ga.us. Be sure to include a photo (no attachments over 1MB in size).

Note: To ensure that the listings are as up to date as possible, listings over 60 days will be removed unless otherwise advised.

Animal Control will post the pictures at the shelter; however, you should take the time to physically come to the shelter at least once a week to look for your lost pet. We look at hundreds of animals each month - so their pet, while easily recognizable to them, is not so easily recognizable to us!

Found on Airline Road at Kellytown Road in early July, Two dogs, one large, one small, together. Appear to be a Great Pyrenees and a Jack Russell type. Call to provide identification

Older female Terrier found very close to Henry County High School & Hwy. 81 East. White in color, no collar or tags, but very friendly. Seems to be pretty house broken, but was dirty and not recently groomed.

We have found a stray puppy.  He appears to be a black & tan coonhound with a possible mix of black lab (his feet are webbed like a lab).  I think he’s about 5 mos (still has puppy teeth).  He was found at Liberty Hill Baptist Church in Hampton on Mt. Carmel Road on Sunday, July 4, 2010.

Found Friday night (Stockbridge/Millers Mill Road area), June 25 Grey female domestic shorthair, tabby markings, approx. 10 weeks old. Clean, healthy, well-mannered and affectionate. Appears to be an indoor pet; claws have been trimmed, knows how to use a litterbox, and coat is silky and well-groomed.

We found this little dog in Hampton in the Elm Street Station neighborhood, off of Main Street. He is very friendly and playful and has a collar but no tags. We had noticed him for a few weeks now but was not until recently that the dog would allow us to help him.
